I've
been in the Radio Broadcasting business for many years, working
during the `70's in Michigan and in Las Vegas for the past 31 years. Most of that time was spent with KFM 102 as Music
Director for the Country Music Legend.
I'm currently employed by Clear Channel of Las Vegas as a Webmaster.
I'm also on the air on Sunday mornings from 6am-10am playing Classic Country songs on 95.5 KWNR in Las Vegas. |
On August
23, 2003, I was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Hall
Of Fame. |

favorite all-time Radio Station was the legendary CKLW,
they transmitted out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada and was one
of the most listened to radio stations in the Detroit area

During my travels
in the radio business I've had the pleasure of knowing Art
Vuolo, Jr. He's been nicknamed "Radio's Best Friend,"
and rightly so. He is the ultimate radio junkie. Ask him about
any DJ and he'll tell you what city and radio station they're
with. Art has a business called Vuolo Video Air-Chex,
where he actually video tapes Disc Jockeys while they're on
the air. If you're a fan of radio, you need to check his sight
out and see the lists of DJ greats that he has available on
