CMT Cigars has postponed their grand opening celebration until August. Details coming.
This month we have a lot of cigar events going on around town.
On a sad note, Phil's Cigars has closed. Word is that they will re-open soon in a new location.

March
There's a new cigar shop called CMT Cigars located at 5661 W. Sahara (in the old Tobacco Land location). Tim & Angela are the owners and have recently moved to Las Vegas from Australia.

Rich at Las Vegas Cigar Company (2510 Sunset Rd. @ Eastern) cooks up a little feast every Saturday at noon for his customers to enjoy with their cigars and sports on their large screen TV.

February 17th
Attended the Joya De Dicaragua event at Tobacco Leaf on West Lake Mead. The event was well attended and Joya and Tobacco Leaf were very generous with the prize giveaways.
February 15th
Went to the M Resort for the first time. It looked a lot like Red Rock Station on the inside. Stinky held a VIP gathering for us in the 32 degree bar where they also serve food. Everyone receive a couple of Romeo y Julieta Reserva maduros compliments of Altadis USA. The cigar was very good and had nice full flavor to it.
February 10th
Finally after 4 attempts, we made it to the Rhumbar at the Miarge. It's a wonderful bar with an outdoor lounge that has comfortable couches & chairs, outdoor heaters and music, and a nice view of the Las Vegas Strip. Definitely my favorite place to smoke cigars in Las Vegas. Next time we go, I'll be sure to take pictures.CAVE Cigar Lounge - Horizon Ridge & Seven Hills in Henderson.
